At Haven House Childminding, we strive to create a nurturing environment that feels like a second home for your child. Central to our approach is supporting children's emotional wellbeing, fostering creativity, and maintaining high standards of care.

We believe in holistic learning, sparking curiosity, and fostering emotional resilience while nurturing a strong sense of individuality alongside practical skills. Each child is seen as an individual, and our fun-filled, engaging curriculum encourages exploration through books, songs, and attentive listening.

From supporting babies in their early stages of communication and movement to guiding preschoolers in developing independence and confidence, we provide exemplary care rooted in love and support. Our experienced practitioners are committed to helping children make significant strides in academic and developmental skills, preparing them for the journey ahead.

At Haven House Childminding, we are dedicated to providing a safe, enriching environment where children thrive and families feel supported every step of the way.

Whitney and her Mum provide a caring, fun and thoughtful setting close to lots of local amenities for the children to enjoy. They communicate frequently and value family flexibility and support.

Our daughter joined at 10 months and has loved her time there. She enjoys trips to forest school, playgroup, picnics and the occasional lunch at Nando’s :)… although the delicious home cooked meals are not to be missed. When not on trips there are plenty of stimulating activities to be enjoyed in the lovely setting itself.

Although our original plan was to send our daughter to nursery we are delighted to have found Haven House. It turned out to be the better choice for us and our circumstances.

We cannot recommend Haven House enough.

Health & Safety

At Haven House Childminding, safety is paramount. We maintain rigorous health and safety practices to ensure the well-being of every child in our care.

Qualified Paediatric First Aiders are always present, and all our practitioners are trained in health and safety, child protection, and hygiene practices. We conduct daily checks of our environment and regular audits to uphold high standards of safety and security.
